factorymaker received four awards at the EY Scale-up Award 2026: Rising Star of the Year 2026, Spin-off of the Year 2026, Rising Star in the Disruption & Innovation category, and Gold Batch 2026.
Four awards, one evening
The EY Scale-up Award is decided by a jury of entrepreneurs and investors. EY described factorymaker as a digital platform for the automated planning and control of industrial production processes.
factorymaker was founded as a TU Wien spin-off. Since then, co-founders Maria Antonia Zahlbruckner and Julia Reisinger and the whole team have been transforming how factories could be planned and optimised. Having that recognised by people who have built and backed companies themselves means a great deal to us.
Congratulations to the other winners
fiskaly was named Scale-up of the Year 2026 and also won the Software & Digital Transformation category. Denise Hirner of UpNano received the first Founder of the Year award. Congratulations also to our office neighbours Sebastian Rigger and Florian Schellnast of joulzen. It’s good to be part of the Austrian startup scene together.
