WU x TU matters brings WU Vienna and TU Wien together on 4 November 2026 for an evening on career paths beyond academia, under the title “Beyond the PhD: From Research to Impact”. After opening remarks from the vice-rectors of both universities, a panel discusses how much economic expertise deep-tech spin-offs really need. A spin-off showcase follows: an interactive pitch battle decided by audience vote.
As a TU Wien spin-off, factorymaker is pitching in the showcase.
